To function efficiently many fire fighting systems require that the protected enclosure is suitably sealed to retain the design concentration for the correct period of time to control and suppress the fire.

Synthetic Gas Fire Suppression

These generally extinguish the fire by reaction with the combustion process and by cooling the atmosphere within the protected space or enclosure.

Water Mist Fire Suppression Systems

Water spray in droplets of micron size produces a large surface area for heat absorption.
